Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Photoshop Artist at a leading North American promotional products distributor. This role focuses on:

• Creating realistic lifestyle images
• Cleaning up product photos
• Recoloring items to showcase different stock color options

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Photoshop
• College degree – Associate's Degree or higher preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of advanced photo manipulation techniques, including masking, blending modes, retouching, and lighting correction
• Proven ability to create realistic lifestyle composites by matching light direction, shadows, depth, and perspective across multiple image sources
• Strong grasp of color theory and tonal adjustments to ensure accurate recoloring of products while maintaining material texture and realism
• Experience with cleaning and enhancing product photos for commercial use, including background removal, dust/artifact cleanup, and surface correction
• High-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• A portfolio demonstrating expertise in lifestyle image creation, product recoloring, and before-and-after retouching work
• Must be amenable to work nightshifts (Eastern Timezone)
• Must have own equipment (Computer: At least i5, 16 GB RAM, Headset, Webcam, Microphone)
• Reliable internet connection and backups

Requirements

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills
• Bonus points if you are proficient in using Generative AI features in Photoshop to enhance and elevate your work
• Illustrator experience is a bonus

Primary Duties and Split Responsibilities

• Manipulate and retouch images to achieve realistic outcomes
• Create composite images from multiple sources, ensuring a seamless final product
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet project specifications and deadlines
