[Hiring] Midweight Graphic Designer @60 Degrees

Role Description

Our client is a small, established UK brand strategy and design agency known for its work with luxury and experience-led brands. They are looking for a Midweight Graphic Designer to become their first in-house designer, working remotely from South Africa alongside the founders and a trusted network of creative freelancers.

This role will suit someone who has worked with luxury brands and enjoys creating work where every detail matters. You'll help shape design for a luxury hotel group while contributing to a variety of projects across the agency's wider portfolio of UK clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery for a luxury hospitality client, producing collateral including menus, packaging, brochures, posters, signage, postcards and in-room materials.
• Create high-quality design across print, digital and physical brand touchpoints.
• Apply and maintain brand guidelines with consistency and attention to detail.
• Take projects from brief through to finished artwork, from Canva content to print-ready assets.
• Support wider agency initiatives, including pitch decks, case studies, packaging, presentations and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand briefs, manage feedback and deliver work on time.
• Manage your workload independently while contributing to a close-knit creative team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Midweight Graphic Designer within an agency, branding consultancy or strong in-house creative environment.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong typography, layout, attention to detail and brand application.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, together with Canva proficiency.
• Experience producing both print and digital creative assets.
• Previous exposure to luxury, premium or experience-led brands, ideally within hospitality, food & beverage, leisure, retail, travel, lifestyle or wellness.
• Strong understanding of brand consistency and premium design standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• A genuine interest in branding and thoughtfully crafted brand experiences.
• Updated portfolio link upon application (mandatory).
• You are a South African citizen, based in South Africa, and able to work UK-aligned hours.
