Role Description
The United States Hockey League is seeking qualified candidates for a Manager of Graphic Design and Video to lead graphic design and videography for the USHL.

Serve as the USHL's creative lead, produce short-form and long-form video content and graphic design for the League.

Produce graphics, copy, videos, and other visual content that align with USHL brand strategy and messaging.

Design and update graphics, logos, signage, and collateral to support owned channels, League events, and player recruitment initiatives.

Schedule headshots, media availability, and capture League-owned content from teams and players at the Fall Classic.

Support game-night coverage by cutting highlights, identifying storylines, and creating content in real time.

Provide event coverage and promotion at owned events (i.e. Fall Classic, Frosty Cup, American Cup, USHL Combines, Clark Cup Final) and non-owned events (i.e. Frozen Four, NHL Draft) working with photographers and videographers to coordinate coverage.

Aid the Vice President of Business Development with the proposal and recap design of digital media sponsorships.

Assist in writing, editing and publishing serial USHL news, including but not limited to:

Weekly/monthly awards

Alumni milestones in NCAA, NHL

Player features
-
Power rankings
-
Team announcements (i.e. relocation, brand change)

Tender announcements
-
Sponsor announcements
-
Weekly notes
-
Weekend previews/game recaps

Playoff previews

NHL Draft reports
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related expertise.

Experience ideating and creating graphics and videos for a variety of purposes and audiences.

Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite.

Undergraduate experience working in a college athletics department, professional or junior hockey organization, or league/conference office is preferred.

Strong writing and editing skills; high attention to detail.

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple departments.

Ability to work nights and weekends.
Requirements

This position is a remote/work from home position with the USHL.

All employees are expected to be actively available during the normal hours of operation Monday through Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm.
