Role Description
Woolpert is hiring an Interior Designer to join our Interiors Discipline supporting our dynamic Mission Critical / Data Center practice. This position reports to the Interiors Discipline Team Leader and will play a key role in the design, planning, and delivery of highly technical workplace interior environments within mission critical and data center facilities.

Develop interior design concepts, produce design documentation and high-quality renderings.

Collaborate closely with the architectural team to ensure a fully integrated design approach.

Serve as a trusted technical and design resource, working collaboratively with project managers, architects, designers, and consulting partners.

Lead significant portions of complex projects and provide day-to-day guidance and direction to more junior interior designers.

Contribute to technical standards, support quality control throughout project delivery, and participate in cross-disciplinary design coordination.

Demonstrate clear leadership potential and interest in mentoring others.

Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in interior architecture or interior design (or equivalent).

5 years of professional experience in interior design or a related field.

Advanced proficiency with design and modeling software (e.g., Revit, Miro, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite).

Strong documentation and presentation capability.

Proven leadership and mentorship abilities; experience managing complex or large-scale project components.

NCIDQ certified (interest in earning additional specialty certifications is preferred).
Requirements

Oversee specific technical aspects of interior projects, from assessment through coordinated solutions and documentation.

Provide professional consultation during planning and execution phases of projects, supporting design intent and project outcomes.

Independently apply advanced interior design concepts and develop improved methods, tools, and solutions as needed.

Guide less experienced staff and manage portions of project teams, supporting mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Analyze complex design issues and develop actionable insights and recommendations.

Maintain robust communication with all project stakeholders to ensure coordination, quality, and consistency.

Participate in marketing initiatives to promote the firm, as assigned.
