Role Description

We are looking for a part-time In-house Designer (50%) to give WRO a strong, consistent and inspiring visual identity across everything we do – from social media to learning content. This role is advertised at 50%, but for the right person we are open to more hours – up to a full-time position.

• Maintain consistency with WRO's visual identity across all materials.
• Develop graphics and visual assets for WRO social media and digital communication.
• Develop presentations, templates and other branded materials.
• Support the Communications team with campaign and event materials.
• Develop graphics for our learning courses on WRO Learn.
• Develop graphics and materials for other WRO programmes and projects.

Qualifications

• Solid graphic and visual design experience, with a portfolio you are proud of.
• Proficiency with standard design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma) and confidence building reusable templates.
• Experience keeping a brand consistent and working within a visual identity system.
• Able to design across formats: social media, presentations, digital communication and learning content.
• Bonus: experience with motion/animation, short video, or e-learning graphics.
• Good English (our working language).
• Reliable, fast and comfortable working with feedback and iterations.
• Self-organized and happy working independently in a fully remote team.

Working hours

This is a part-time role: 20 hours per week (50%). We work remotely across time zones and ask for at least 4 hours of daily overlap with 07:00–16:00 UTC+0.

Start date

The role starts on 1 January 2027.
