Role Description

Your day as a Home Accessories and Lighting Designer will involve:

• Researching and developing innovative concepts for home accessories, lighting, mirrors, and small goods.
• Using CAD to sketch designs, create prototypes, and refine visions in collaboration with manufacturers.
• Conducting global trend research to inspire designs that align with the brand's sophisticated voice and customer-centric approach.
• Preparing detailed specifications and working closely with factory partners to prioritize cost-effective solutions.
• Contributing to high-performance projects that enhance the company's reputation in the luxury furniture industry.

Qualifications

• BA or MA in industrial design, product design, or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing design process and aesthetic sensibility.
• Complex understanding of CAD.
• Deep knowledge of production phases and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand criticism and adjust design accordingly.
• Knowledgeable about the interior design industry.
• Understanding of the history of furniture and current design trends.
• Ability to understand and ensure design feasibility.
• Ability to prepare detailed specifications for all products, including materials and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to work closely with factory partners to prioritize cost-effective approaches.

• This full-time product design opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $45 - $50 per hour.
