Role Description
The Experience Designer supports and enhances the student experience through digital engagement initiatives. As a member of the Digital Student Experience team, this role advocates for students across the student lifecycle by conducting research, contributing to solution design, and supporting implementation efforts. The position collaborates with stakeholders and technology teams to improve student-facing experiences and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Conduct user research and interviews to understand learner needs and contribute to the development of student-centered solutions aligned with institutional goals.

Support product and experience initiatives by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.

Participate in discovery and research activities, help validate solutions, and contribute to experience improvement recommendations.

Assist with solution development, testing, implementation planning, and adoption efforts using agile and collaborative approaches.

Monitor trends, conduct market research, and identify opportunities to enhance student experiences and digital products.

Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to support data-informed recommendations and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Preferred disciplines include Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, User Experience Design, or a related field.

3β5 years of experience in higher education, customer experience, user experience, product support, digital engagement, or related fields.

Experience in higher education environments.

Experience supporting digital experience initiatives or product enhancement efforts.
