As a crucial member of our team, you will support and collaborate with senior designers and external partners across the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual development and client presentations to on-site implementation and final installation. Responsibilities:
1. Conceptual and Schematic Design
- Contribute fresh, dynamic design concepts that capture Nina Magon Studio's signature brand of modern elegance.
- Research and source new materials, finishes, and products to inspire vibrant mood boards,
- imaginative color palettes, and compelling presentation visuals.
- Present initial ideas to clients and senior stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and an innate understanding of the project's vision.
2. Design Development
- Translate approved design schemes into refined, highly detailed plans, focusing on luxurious yet functional solutions.
- Develop 3D models, renderings, and detailed drawings (e.g., millwork, custom furniture pieces) to illustrate design intent and ensure technical accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Designers to align project deliverables with both client requirements and the studio's elevated aesthetic standards.
3. Technical Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including precise floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and finish schedules.
- Uphold studio-wide drafting standards and ensure consistency across all technical drawings. Coordinate with internal and external teams (architects, contractors, fabricators) to address technical challenges and confirm that every detail reflects the design concept.
4. FF&E Selection and Procurement
- Curate high-end furniture, fixtures, textiles, and accessories that merge style with top-tier quality.
- Manage vendor communications, request samples, track orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain a robust, up-to-date materials library that fuels creativity and exploration of new trends.
5. Project Management and Coordination
- Communicate design directives, project updates, and specifications to all stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination from start to finish.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and schedules, anticipating potential hurdles to keep deliverables on target.
- Provide regular status reports to senior leadership, helping to streamline project processes and maintain transparency.
6. Client and Team Collaboration
- Participate actively in client meetings, showcasing your design expertise and problem-solving prowess.
- Offer guidance to junior designers, sharing best practices and studio protocols to foster a supportive learning culture.
- Contribute to a positive studio atmosphere by encouraging open dialogue, innovative thinking, and constant skill development.
7. Quality Control
- Collaborate in creating and completing punch lists, ensuring flawless execution and the highest degree of craftsmanship.
- Advocate for rigorous attention to detail to realize Nina Magon Studio's standard of excellence in every project deliverable.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in residential or hospitality design (or a combination of both).
- Proven track record developing high-caliber design packages and collaborating across various project stages.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (or other BIM software), and strong 3D visualization skills (SketchUp, Enscape, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for high-impact presentations.
- Strong understanding of MS Office and project management tools to keep workflows efficient and organized.
- Design and Creative Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of interior design principles, particularly space planning, color theory, and material applications for luxury environments.
- Keen sense of scale, proportion, and detail, combined with the ability to synthesize client needs into extraordinary design statements.
- Up-to-date awareness of industry trends, sustainability considerations, and cutting-edge product innovations.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling effective storytelling of your design vision.
