[Hiring] Associate Creative Director, Copy @Function Health

Role Description

We're seeking an Associate Creative Director to help lead the conceptual and executional direction of Function Health's brand. This role sits at the intersection of big-platform thinking and hands-on craft—someone who can develop ideas from the first brief all the way through final execution across every surface where Function shows up.

• Drive the creative development of campaigns, social content, brand moments, and hero executions.
• Bring a strong conceptual point of view and a sharp understanding of what resonates on social.
• Translate Function's mission into work that is clear, compelling, culturally relevant, and built to perform across platforms.
• Concept, script, and create ideas that feel native to the way audiences engage with content today.
• Manage and mentor junior creatives, providing clear direction, thoughtful feedback, and a creative environment where great work can thrive.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, Clinical, and Production teams to ensure creative work is aligned, on-strategy, and executed with precision.
• Stay ahead of cultural trends, platform shifts, creator behaviors, and competitive creative to ensure Function's work remains fresh, relevant, and category-leading.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in creative roles at an agency, in-house brand team, or content studio.
• Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional conceptual thinking, strong storytelling, and platform-native execution.
• Proven experience developing campaigns and content specifically built for social.
• Strong conceptual foundation: ability to develop a platform idea, script compelling creative narratives, and extend concepts across multiple formats, channels, and moments.
• Demonstrated experience creating social-first content and creative systems that balance brand storytelling with audience engagement and platform behavior.
• Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring creative talent, with a track record of elevating team output.
• Fluent across both copy and art direction.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to move fast without sacrificing quality.
