Role Description

Real Chemistry is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Art to join our growing team! 21GRAMS, part of Real Chemistry, is a full-service healthcare advertising agency built on the belief that healthcare should feel more human. The Associate Creative Director, Art is responsible for leading the creative engagements across multiple healthcare client accounts. You must be the digital translator of the brand’s strategy and creative platform and bring to life how it will support the full consumer and HCP journey.

• Lead a team to unpack how to leverage existing and emerging technologies and ways of engaging audiences anywhere at any time.
• Work closely with engagement strategy teams to leverage insights driving healthcare professionals and consumers.
• Develop experiences that transform our clients’ brands.
• Partner with account and project management to ensure high-quality creative work across all digital channels.

This role can be remote within the United States or based in any of our U.S. office locations, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Lambertville, NJ, San Francisco, or Carmel, IN. This position requires the ACD, Art to have prior health care experience.

Qualifications

• Healthcare marketing writing experience for consumer/patient and HCP audiences.
• 5-7+ years of health care/pharma experience in an agency environment.
• BA degree (Advertising, Communications, Fine Arts, or related field preferred).
• A comprehensive creative portfolio, demonstrating strong conceptual capabilities and ability to produce work in high-science pharma categories.

Requirements

• Can structure a complete narrative and write in different voices to suit client and audience.
• Work with ACD, Copy to produce standout and strategically focused campaigns and experiences.
• Identify and interview prospective creative candidates.
• Manage teams, creative output, and client relationships.
• Concepts and campaign execution that are in line with client strategy.
• Oversee day-to-day deliverables for the team under tight deadlines while delivering best-in-class work to market.
• Mentor teams both internally and externally.
• Manage awards submissions and case studies for the brand.
• Participate in high-level projects and new business pitches.
