Role Description
We're currently hiring for an AI Designer to join us! You are a hands-on production designer who owns the visual output of the entire marketing team. That means everything: the website, every campaign asset, every newsletter, every social post, every ad creative. You work fast, you maintain brand consistency across all of it, and you use AI tools as a genuine accelerator - not an experiment. You are not a creative director briefing others; you are the person who does it.
This is not a traditional design role with AI tools bolted on. AI tooling is central to how this role operates.
We expect you to:

Generate visual concepts and variations using generative AI tools as a standard first step in ideation.

Use AI to compress timelines β what used to take a week should take a day; what took a day should take an hour.

Know which tasks AI handles well and which require your full manual craft - and make that call without being asked.

Stay current as AI design tooling evolves; evaluate and introduce new tools when they raise the quality bar.
Responsibilities

Website Design (xtm.ai)
-
Create all UI elements, page layouts, and visual components for the xtm.ai website - banners, hero sections, icons, illustrations, and supporting visuals.

Deliver assets in formats ready for the HubSpot CMS handoff to the HubSpot & Web Operations Specialist.

Design with conversion in mind - understand the goal of every page before you design it.

Use AI tools to rapidly prototype layout variations and visual concepts before committing to full execution.

Generate imagery, illustrations, icons, and textures using AI image tools - refined and adapted to brand standards.

Campaign Materials

This is a high-volume production role. You are responsible for every visual asset that goes out the door.

Design paid ad creatives across Google Display, LinkedIn, and any other active channels - multiple sizes and variants per campaign.

Create all organic social media visuals β posts, stories, carousel formats, cover images.

Design landing page visuals for each campaign and deliver them for HubSpot build.

Produce event and webinar promotional materials β banners, slide decks, digital signage.

Use AI to generate multiple creative directions quickly, enabling faster stakeholder sign-off and faster time to launch.

Apply AI image editing tools to adapt and extend existing assets rather than rebuilding from scratch.

Newsletters & Email Design
-
Design and produce all marketing email templates - newsletters, nurture sequences, product updates, event invites.

Build reusable email modules in HubSpot that the team can assemble without needing a designer for every send.

Ensure email layouts are mobile-optimised and render correctly across major clients.

Use AI tools to generate personalised visual variants for segmented email campaigns.

Brand Consistency & Design System

Maintain and evolve the xtm.ai visual identity across all touchpoints - web, email, social, ads, events.
-
Build and maintain a Figma design system β components, tokens, and guidelines - that the wider team can reference.

Create templates and reusable assets so that simple production tasks can be handled by non-designers in a pinch.

Use AI tools to generate brand-consistent variations at scale β localised assets A/B test variants, seasonal adaptations.
Qualifications
-
3β5 years of hands-on design experience with a strong digital portfolio covering web, email, social, and campaign assets - not just brand or print.

Proficiency in Canva and Figma - components, auto-layout, and design systems.

Hands-on fluency with AI design and image generation tools β you use them daily and can demonstrate the output.

Experience designing and producing HTML email templates, ideally within HubSpot or a comparable ESP.

Understanding of web design constraints: responsive layouts, asset formats, and file optimisation for CMS.

Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent briefs and deliver on time without sacrificing quality.

Basic HTML/CSS is a plus β enough to communicate clearly with the HubSpot specialist.

Experience using AI tools to produce motion graphics, animated assets, or short explainer videos for campaigns and social.
