Role Description
Weβre seeking a part-time 3D Renderer to produce high-quality 3D visualizations of our interior spaces before we build. Youβll take our drawings, photos, and direction (brands, finishes, fixtures, and even preferred daylight settings using physical sun/sky) and turn them into clear, realistic 3D views so we can compare options and make decisions with confidence.
Typical spaces include kitchens and bar areas, stairs, walls, bathrooms, and adjacent rooms. This role is ideal for someone who can reliably contribute ~10 hours per week for 4β6 months.
Timezone: Must overlap with US Eastern Time for at least 2 hours per day
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
-
Build or clean up 3D models from plans, elevations, and photo references (kitchens/bars, stairs, bathrooms, etc.).
-
Set up scenes, cameras, and compositions to match specified viewpoints; propose additional useful views when appropriate.
-
Apply client-provided materials and finishes (brands, SKUs, textures) and efficiently swap variants to compare design schemes.
-
Produce photorealistic still renders (and optional 360 panoramas or short fly-throughs) at agreed resolutions.
-
Maintain clean, well-organized source files, naming conventions, and asset libraries; document material schedules per scheme.
-
Iterate quickly based on feedback, including light post-processing and retouching in Photoshop (color, contrast, glare, entourage).
-
Quality-check geometry, scale, and material mapping; proactively flag constructability issues or drawing inconsistencies.
-
Share progress via cloud folders, provide concise written update notes, and manage shared Google Drive files and folders.
Deliverables & Quality Bar
-
Render Output: 3β5 high-resolution still views per space per scheme (optional 360 panorama or short clip when helpful).
-
Accuracy: Scale and placements aligned with drawings within practical tolerance (β 1β2 cm / Β½βΒΎ in).
-
Variants: Efficient material swaps (e.g., countertop options, tile patterns, stains, grout colors, hardware).
Qualifications
-
Clear written English; concise update notes; strong file organization in Google Drive.
-
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, or Blender.
-
Experience with V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, Corona, Cycles, or Octane.
-
Strong Adobe Photoshop (or Affinity Photo) skills for compositing and color management.
-
Ability to read architectural drawings, elevations, and sections; comfortable with dimensions and tolerances.
-
Apply accurate materials (albedo, roughness, metallic, normal maps) provided by the client.
-
Experience with daylight systems (physical sun/sky) and interior lighting; HDRI experience is a plus.
-
Capable workstation (please disclose CPU/GPU/RAM) and stable internet for large file transfers.
Regional & Design Experience (Strong Preference)
-
Prior project experience in Saudi Arabia and/or the UAE.
-
High-end residential or hospitality interiors in the Middle East (villas, kitchens, baths, feature spaces).
-
Elegant Mediterranean and contemporary Arabic design styles, including warm neutral palettes, natural stone (travertine, marble), refined wood finishes.
-
Arched forms, layered lighting, and luxury detailing.
-
A balance of sophistication, restraint, and realism expected in GCC markets.
-
Client and consultant workflows common in KSA/UAE, with high expectations for material accuracy, proportions, and presentation quality.
-
Experience delivering renders for GCC clients, developers, or design firms is a significant advantage.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus)
-
AutoCAD (DWG underlay cleanup, view alignment) and/or Revit family creation.
-
CET Designer (Configura) familiarity.
-
Unreal Engine or Twinmotion for real-time reviews; Revit + Enscape pipelines for rapid iterations.
-
Basic video editing for short walk-throughs.
-
Prior experience rendering kitchens, bathrooms, walls, and millwork/cabinetry.
Tools & File Ecosystem

Preferred 3D Stacks (choose your lane):
-
Revit + Enscape/V-Ray
-
SketchUp + V-Ray/Enscape
