[Hiring] US Finance Data Contributor – AI Research @Prolific Academic

Role Description

We are looking for US-based participants aged 18+ to take part in a paid research project using real-world financial data to help train AI models. No finance background is required. The task is remote and flexible and takes approximately 1–2 hours for most participants.

Tasks

• Download genuine financial records from your own accounts.
• Provide data from 5 required categories plus at least 1 additional eligible app (6 apps minimum).
• Provide 2 financial documents you created yourself.
• Data must be genuine, recent (newest transaction within 60 days), and cover the same 12-month period.
• Upload and validate your files through Peak Talent, with guidance from Prolific.
• Files are redacted on your own device before upload. You will never provide passwords, account credentials, or live access to your financial accounts.

Qualifications

• US resident, 18+
• Access to your own eligible financial accounts and data.
• Comfortable downloading and uploading files.
• Able to follow instructions and provide your own genuine data.
• Screenshots, synthetic or AI-generated data, and scraped data are not accepted.
• You’ll first complete a short eligibility screener.

Requirements

• Pay: $10 for the eligibility screener.
• If you pass, you’ll be invited to a separate study where you can earn $240 once your submission is reviewed and approved.
