[Hiring] Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst @Waystar

Role Description

We’re looking for a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst who is eager to support Waystar leadership by analyzing sales and operational data to uncover actionable insights. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving data-informed decisions that maximize business performance and deliver insights that help drive improved outcomes for healthcare providers.

You will be responsible for:

• Collecting, organizing, and reviewing data from multiple sources.
• Developing reports and dashboards.
• Identifying key trends and patterns that inform process improvements.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into clear, understandable narratives.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in business, analytics, or data science, have a strong aptitude for data manipulation tools, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to diverse audiences. This role suits someone who enjoys digging into data and contributing to projects that have a tangible impact on the organization’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and complex modeling.
• 1-2+ years of experience working in operations or other data-related fields.
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to distill complex analyses for management.
• Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and execute many concurrent tasks.
