[Hiring] Senior Tableau Developer @The UNC Systems

Role Description

The UNC Systems is seeking a skilled Tableau Administrator who will primarily focus on managing and optimizing their Tableau environment. This role will involve:

• Overseeing user access and permissions
• Maintaining system performance
• Organizing project structures
• Maintaining existing Tableau visualizations
• Mentoring users in dashboard development
• Troubleshooting issues to ensure effective data visualization
• Proficiency in Python scripting is a plus for automating data processes and enhancing workflow efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Tableau Administrator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of dashboard development
• Proficiency in Python is a plus, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar for data manipulation
• In-depth knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including best practices for dashboard design and data visualization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience as a Tableau Administrator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of dashboard development (Required: 3 Years)
• In-depth knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including best practices for dashboard design and data visualization (Required: 3 Years)
• Proficiency in Python is a plus, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar for data manipulation (Highly desired: 3 Years)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Highly desired: 3 Years)
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes (Highly desired: 3 Years)
