[Hiring] Senior Forward Deployed Data Engineer @Hilbert's AI

Role Description

As a Founding Forward Deployed Data Engineer in LATAM, you'll be at the center of bringing Hilbert to new enterprise customers across the region. You'll work directly with their data and technical teams, architect deployments, solve messy integration problems, and turn what you learn in the field into better infrastructure and product.

• Architect the Ground Truth: Build the AI Growth Engine that Fortune 500 enterprises and iconic B2C brands use to navigate their revenue drivers in real time.
• The Hard Problem: Ensure reasoning consistency and high-quality insights regardless of where the data resides.
• The Dual-Track Challenge: Build a system that can either pipe data into our ClickHouse stack or execute "Zero-Extract" transformations natively in the customer's warehouse.
• The AI Semantic Layer: Build the "Translator" for custom datasets, defining metadata and business logic.
• Agent-Assisted Integration: Partner with a Data Discovery Agent to automate integration tasks.
• Building in a New Market: Establish deployment, support, and scaling processes for Hilbert in LATAM.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Portuguese is a strong plus, particularly as we expand our presence in Brazil.

Requirements

• Comfort optimizing ClickHouse queries, writing native Snowpark or BigQuery SQL, and implementing data orchestration scripts in Python.
• Ability to define the meaning behind data as a Data Ontologist.
• Trust-building skills with customers' Data Architects.
• Experience operating in an early-stage environment.
• Excitement for using and improving AI agents for data discovery and pipeline scaffolding.
• Comfort working directly with enterprise customers, including on-site visits when necessary.
