Role Description

This position is part of the Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics (BIAA) division of ITG and is responsible for the support, administration, and optimization of Epic's analytics and reporting tools, including Radar, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Registries, and the Analytics Catalog. This role ensures that providers, operational leaders, and staff have reliable, accurate, and user-friendly access to clinical, financial, and operational data to support decision-making and performance improvement. The analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for these tools, configuring dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics, while also ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and four years' work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
• OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years' work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
• OR Associate’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
• OR Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
• OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate’s degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting Epic integrated reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Registries, Analytics Catalog).
• 2+ years of experience participating in Epic upgrades, testing, and validation for Cogito-related functionality.
• 2+ years of experience using the Epic Clarity and Caboodle databases.
• 1+ years of experience building and maintaining Epic reports and dashboards for clinical, financial, and operational users.
• 1+ years of experience supporting self-service analytics tools (e.g., SlicerDicer) and training end users.
• 1+ years of experience writing SQL queries.
• 3+ years of experience working with vendors and cross-functional IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system or reporting issues.
