[Hiring] Senior Data Tech Lead @CI&T

Role Description

We are looking for a Data & Tech Lead to provide technical leadership for a strategic project focused on centralizing and transforming Supply Chain data for a major CPG company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the data team from a technical perspective, contributing to solution and architecture design, guiding technical decisions, and working closely with the client to connect business needs, data, architecture, and engineering.

The project aims to transform a distributed data environment involving:

• Power Apps
• Power Automate
• Excel
• SharePoint
• Legacy systems

into a centralized, reliable, and scalable data platform to support business operations and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team, guiding technical decisions and ensuring high-quality deliveries.
• Define and evolve the data architecture of the solution.
• Design strategies for data ingestion, integration, and transformation from multiple sources.
• Lead the migration of data from SharePoint to SQL Server.
• Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
• Design transactional and analytical layers to consolidate data across different Supply Chain domains.
• Lead the development and evolution of semantic models and Power BI solutions.
• Ensure best practices for data quality, performance, governance, and scalability.
• Work directly with the client to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Act as a bridge between business, architecture, data, and development teams.
• Provide technical guidance to Data Developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership for data teams.
• Strong experience designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and multi-source data integrations.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and processing.
• Practical experience with Databricks and Azure.
• Knowledge of data modeling and semantic models.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced English proficiency for communication in a corporate and international environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of SAP and SAP data integration.
• Experience or knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
• Spanish proficiency.
