[Hiring] Senior Data Engineer @Voicemod

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help make Voicemod's analytics AI-driven. Your mission is to build AI-ready data: the best data and context, so AI can get the most out of it. This is a full-stack role. You will:

• Design event tracking plans with product teams.
• Build and run the ingestion pipelines that land our data in Snowflake.
• Model data in dbt.
• Make data AI-ready with metric definitions, documentation, and semantic models.

Our stack:

• Amplitude for real-time product analytics.
• Snowflake with dbt for slower, exact reporting.
• Data lands through Weld, Stitch and dltHub, orchestrated with Airflow.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, with advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and a cloud data warehouse, ideally Snowflake.
• Experience designing event tracking plans with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel or Segment.
• Experience with ELT and data integration tools such as Weld, Stitch, dltHub or Fivetran.
• Experience orchestrating workflows with Airflow or a similar tool.
• Solid knowledge of data modelling (dimensional modelling, incremental models, slowly changing dimensions).
• Comfort working directly with engineers, product managers and analysts, and translating their needs into data products.

Requirements

• Experience making data AI-ready: semantic layers (dbt Semantic Layer, Cube), rich metadata, or connecting LLMs to a warehouse (for example via MCP or text-to-SQL).
• Python for building and maintaining pipelines.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with BI tools beyond Looker, or with running a BI migration.
• Experience with data quality and observability tooling.
• A true passion for Voicemod's mission, products, and the company's technology and content nature.
• A never-ending desire to grow and learn.
