Role Description

The Sr. Data Analyst, Specialty GPO Operations is responsible for data and technology management to support and enable Operations processes including:

• Data mining
• Business analyses
• Data reconciliation
• Data integrity
• Reporting and analysis

This position supports Cardinal Health's Specialty GPO Operations, which includes:

• Reporting
• Revenue and rebate reconciliation
• Services and contract implementation

Location: This position is remote, based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be able to work within EST or CST business hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the primary data and reporting subject matter expert for approximately 10 pharmaceutical manufacturer clients.
• Perform data reconciliations (40%), identify and explain root cause variances, and work with internal and external business partners through resolution.
• Navigate complex business requirements by asking probing questions to uncover underlying needs.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reporting using advanced Excel and Looker.
• Analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with Commercial Technology and IT teams to enhance reporting tools and processes.
• Operationalize and support GPO contracts and amendments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization.
• Define, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business operations, financial analysis, reporting, GPO operations, healthcare distribution, pharmaceutical manufacturer contracting, or related analytical functions, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) operations, pharmaceutical manufacturer contracting, rebates, fees, and healthcare data processes strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, complex formulas, data modeling, reconciliation, and analysis of large datasets; experience with automation tools and macros preferred.
• Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools such as Looker or similar analytics platforms.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrated success partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and support development of reporting and analytics tools.
• Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate complex analytical findings.
• Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience performing data reconciliations, root cause analysis, validation, and data quality management.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Anticipated salary range: $106,700 - $152,400
