[Hiring] Senior Data Analyst @ Nearform

Role Description

As a Senior Data Analyst your main responsibility will be analysing complex datasets to generate actionable insights, support business decision-making, and improve operational and customer experience outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings through reporting and visualisation. Your responsibilities may include:

• Analysing large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Creating dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with product, engineering, operational, and clinical teams to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Supporting the development and optimisation of data models and data warehouse structures to improve analytical performance and scalability.
• Performing statistical analysis to support forecasting, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Translating business questions into analytical frameworks and delivering actionable recommendations based on data findings.
• Monitoring data quality and supporting governance processes to maintain reliable and accurate reporting.
• Working with cloud-based data platforms and warehousing solutions such as Snowflake to support analytics and reporting workflows.
• Supporting ETL and data transformation processes in collaboration with technical teams and data engineers.
• Communicating complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise analytical initiatives and align reporting with business objectives.
• Assisting with documentation, reporting standards, and best practices for scalable analytics processes.
• Working closely with client teams and cross-functional partners to support successful project delivery and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering at Senior Data Analyst level.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience analysing complex datasets and identifying actionable insights.
• Dashboarding and visualisation experience using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Experience working with data models and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake - highly desirable.
• Knowledge of dbt and data transformation workflows.
• Strong understanding of data quality and reporting best practices.
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Experience working in agile and cross-functional environments.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Technical Assessment (1 hour via Zoom) - A technical challenge with one of our trained interviewers.
• Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins via Zoom) - A conversation with a Hiring Manager focused on your approach to teamwork, client collaboration, and problem-solving in an enterprise development setting.
• There may also be an additional interview with the client depending on the project.
