Role Description

This role involves managing and manipulating structured data to derive actionable insights.

• Manage and manipulate structured data
• Build business intelligence tools
• Conduct analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends
• Perform normalization operations and assure data quality
• Create specifications to bring data into a common structure
• Create product specifications and models
• Develop data solutions to support analysis and interpreting results
• Develop actionable insights and present recommendations for use across the company
• Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids, and business case analysis
• Produce and manage the delivery of activity and value analytics to external stakeholders and clients
• Build solutions, perform analysis, and interpret data
• Work on predominately descriptive and regression-based analytics
• Leverage subject matter expert views in the design of analytics and algorithms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistical Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Analyst-related occupation
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in the same fields with 1 year of experience

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in SQL
• 3 years of experience in Python
• 3 years of experience in SAS
• Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
• Experience with cloud-based data platform Azure Databricks
• Experience in medical claims or pharmacy claims data analysis
• Experience with machine learning techniques including regression analysis, predictive modeling, time-series analysis, and clustering
• Handling large-scale datasets, including cleaning, integrating, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or GitHub
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
