A Senior Business Systems Analyst analyzes, designs, and implements processes to improve efficiency and support business success. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across departments to understand needs, gather requirements, and develop technical solutions.

As a Business Systems Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Leading requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand needs, documenting business problems, and collaborating on planning and executing delivery objectives.
• Analyzing current business processes and systems to identify improvements, aligning with projects and best practices to propose effective solutions.
• Translating business needs into clear, functional, and non-functional requirements tailored specifically for technology teams.
• Facilitating communication between business units and IT, serving as a primary contact to ensure alignment with proposed solutions.
• Providing user acceptance testing support, documentation, and training while serving as a subject-matter expert for Data Engineering and Analytics operations.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to reveal actionable insights and providing data-driven recommendations while performing ad-hoc analyses and statistical modeling.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and teams, ensuring alignment of business needs with technical solutions, while supporting data-focused initiatives and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business System Analyst or in a comparable role.
• Analytical expertise to effectively convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Expertise in business process modeling, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
• Expertise in SQL for data extraction and analysis; experience in project management, AI, and Tableau is considered valuable.
