[Hiring] Senior Business Analyst @Christie Digital Systems Inc.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst in India. The Senior Business Analyst combines technical expertise and business acumen to ensure the proper alignment of business processes and goals with current and planned technology (applications and data management). This position provides specialized advice to assigned business leaders so that technology can be applied to solve operational and functional challenges or to create efficiency through automation.

• Support business users in addressing questions regarding process, system, and other functional issues in day to day transactions.
• Support and troubleshoot finance-related interfaces to non-JDE systems.
• Working with user groups, develop credible recommendations for the optimal use of technology (current and future) to suit the business requirements.
• Identify less visible cross-boundary business needs through a deeper understanding of business processes and challenges.
• Build innovative solutions that positively impact the ROI or profitability of the business, or whose cost impact is well-defined.
• Through an understanding of the capability and limitations of technology, influence the business owners to adopt realistic system solutions. Provide options and alternatives.
• Create specifications documents and report designs, and work with the Programmer/Developers to ensure understanding and usability.
• Assist with testing and evaluation processes.
• Must be able to work late evening shifts to support North American business users.
• Must have the ability to write SQL queries for data-analysis / database updates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in using/supporting/implementing JDE Financials
• AR
• AP
• Fixed Assets
• General Accounting
• Finance background is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing company and/or service industry.
• Experience in a globally based organization, operating in a multi-entity/multi-currency environment.

Requirements

• Oracle Cloud EPM
• JDE UDO creation / maintenance
• JDE modules such as Distribution, Service, Manufacturing
• Familiarity with Hubble Insight financial reporting software
• Experience with Vertex tax calculation for US AR.
• Familiarity with OMW project creation / promotion for version changes, menu creation, and UDO promotion.
