[Hiring] Senior Business Analyst @ZipStaff

Role Description

ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Marketing and Data Analytics initiatives for a well-known outdoor retail / direct-to-consumer organization. You will sit between marketing, product, and technology — documenting processes, writing requirements, and helping deliver solutions for email, audience targeting, customer file, campaigns, and customer insights. This is a senior BA seat in the marketing data domain, not a generic ticket-taking analyst role.

• Partner with product owners, planning/PMs, technical resources, and stakeholders to set vision, scope, and delivery.
• Analyze and document current business processes; recommend improvements.
• Develop business, functional, and user requirements.
• Serve as liaison between business and technology; critically evaluate requests.
• Build domain knowledge in marketing functions and contribute to multi-year capability / technology roadmaps.
• Support marketing-domain work such as:
• Email file and program support.
• Modeling and audience targeting.
• Customer acquisition.
• Data feeds and customer file maintenance.
• Promotions and campaign management.
• Customer insights and analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst on marketing, data analytics, or customer-data initiatives.
• Proven requirements gathering and process documentation.
• Experience working with product owners, PMs, and technical teams.
• Ability to translate marketing / customer-data needs into functional requirements.
• Strong stakeholder communication.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer marketing.
• Audience targeting, campaign management, or customer-file / data-feed work.
• Exposure to multi-year marketing or data-platform roadmaps.
