Role Description

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Project Data Engineer III to support our client in Oak Ridge, TN.

• Develop, maintain, integrate, and improve project data integration solutions that connect information from multiple projects, engineering, and business systems.
• Design and support automated data workflows, reporting tools, dashboards, and applications that provide accurate and timely project information.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other functional teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions that support project execution and decision-making.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement improvements to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of project data.
• Maintain technical documentation and support the continuous improvement of data processes, reporting standards, and integration tools.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project data management, data engineering, software development, or a related technical field.
• Experience developing and maintaining project data, automated workflows, databases, reporting solutions, or similar data-driven applications.
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools, database technologies, and data transformation or integration processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and develop practical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support data needs across complex technical projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, project management, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening exam.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security access badge.

Requirements

• This is a remote position.
• Schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday 40 hours per week.
