Role Description
This position is responsible for financial analytic strategies, including:
- Control review and development
- Comprehensive variance analysis
- Dynamic process improvement actions
Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing a strong financial control environment across the department for both internal and external processes
- Providing comprehensive PBM and client level analysis and strategy recommendations for manufacturer contract negotiations and formulary management strategy
- Managing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of metrics/KPIs associated with client rebate analytics quality, timeliness, and performance
- Managing key stakeholders in strategic trade and clinical decision making
- Directing internal and external partners and leading analytics to deliver compelling insights
- Managing and providing support to staff members in analysis and reporting tied to all methods of the rebate delivery system
- Maintaining reporting excellence and developing team members to support accuracy and timeliness in deliverables
- Working directly with clients, internal partners, and vendors to provide consultation, analytic insight, and strategy
- Serving as a subject matter expert for cross-functional leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematical, Statistical, or Financial disciplines
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Financial Analytics and Reporting, Rebate Reporting, or related experience
- Previous experience in the PBM industry, or rebate management; pharma contracting, rebate underwriting, client contracting experience required
- Previous experience in production of client-facing reporting required
- Previous experience in the implementation of financial controls preferred
- Moderate level of SQL experience, or equivalent
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills
Requirements
- Ability to create and manage queries with extensive joins and other statements preferred
- Flexibility to work beyond traditional hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as required
- Valid passport and ability to leave the United States required
