[Hiring] Principal Data Analyst @HubSpot

Role Description

As Principal, Marketing Measurement, you'll lead the evolution of how HubSpot measures and optimizes its marketing measurement and investments — building the measurement infrastructure and decision-making framework that enables confident capital allocation decisions across organic, paid, owned, and earned channels.

This role leads the work of understanding what drives incremental growth across all marketing levers and translating those insights into smarter investment decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, and Product.

What You'll Do

• Measurement Strategy & Attribution
  • Deep understanding of full funnel Marketing strategy and techniques.
  • Own and evolve the marketing measurement framework across various channels.
  • Develop how marketing tracks full funnel attribution across the buyer journey.
  • Modernize attribution methodology to capture the full influence of marketing activity.
  • Develop executive-ready reporting and performance narratives connecting marketing investment to revenue outcomes.
• Marketing Mix Modeling & Incrementality
  • Build and operate Marketing Mix Models to quantify marginal ROI across channels.
  • Establish and scale an incrementality testing program.
  • Partner with Marketing and Finance leadership for joint, evidence-based investment planning.
• Predictive Analytics & Forecasting
  • Build and operationalize predictive LTV models connecting marketing signals to revenue outcomes.
  • Develop multi-horizon revenue forecasting capabilities.
  • Drive the build vs. buy roadmap for predictive tooling.
• Data Science Leadership
  • Lead and direct data science execution toward measurement priorities.
  • Advance AI and machine learning applications across measurement and forecasting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in marketing analytics or marketing data science.
• Deep understanding of Marketing strategy and its execution.
• Deep expertise in Marketing Mix Modeling and incrementality testing.
• Experience building predictive LTV models and multi-horizon revenue forecasting.
• Experience with multi-touch attribution models in a B2B SaaS context.
• Track record of building a trusted Finance partnership.
• Strong technical fluency in designing experiments and validating outputs.
• Experience with modern multi-touch attribution approaches.
• Excellent executive communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Marketing measurement and leadership experience at a B2B SaaS or high-growth technology company.
• Data science background.
• Experience with Brand and LLM/AEO/GEO measurement techniques.
• Background in paid media strategy and bidding optimization.
• Experience evaluating and managing external measurement vendors.
• Familiarity with B2B buying-group measurement across complex sales cycles.
