[Hiring] Power BI Developer @LMI

Role Description

LMI is seeking a Secret-cleared Power BI Developer to support the redesign, development, and modernization of business intelligence, data visualization, reporting, and knowledge management solutions.

A successful Power BI Developer will have five (5) or more years of experience using Power BI software for:

• Data modeling
• Dashboard development
• Reporting
• Automation
• Analytics

The Power BI Developer will have supporting experience with Power Platform tools, including:

• Power Apps
• Power Pages
• Power Automate

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing business requirements to identify Power BI reporting, dashboard, and data visualization solutions
• Designing and developing Power BI solutions, including semantic models, datasets, dashboards, reports, and automated reporting capabilities
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs
• Testing and debugging Power BI solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and user needs
• Providing ongoing maintenance and support for Power BI solutions
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for SharePoint solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field
• 3-5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions
• Strong understanding of Power BI architecture, data modeling, development frameworks, and best practices
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and relevant data visualization techniques
• Experience developing interactive dashboards, reports, semantic models, datasets, and data refresh solutions
• Knowledge of SQL Server, database design, and data integration concepts
• Experience with Power BI and supporting Power Platform software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess an active Secret clearance

Requirements

• Master’s degree (preferred)
• Organizational change management understanding and/or certifications (preferred)
• Experience with Human Centered Design principles and methodologies (preferred)
• Experience with 508 compliance requirements (preferred)
• Previous experience within the government contracting space (preferred)
• Previous experience in DoW (preferred)

Benefits

• Target salary range: $110,000 - $130,000
