[Hiring] Platform Intelligence Analyst @Fetch

Role Description

The Trust & Safety Detection & Intelligence team identifies, investigates, and helps disrupt fraud, abuse, and other threats across the Fetch platform. The team combines investigative rigor, data analysis, detection development, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to understand emerging risks and develop scalable responses.

As a Platform Integrity Intelligence Analyst, you will:

• Investigate suspicious activity and identify emerging abuse patterns.
• Develop and improve fraud detections.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Work with large and varied datasets.
• Assess the performance of rules and automated systems.
• Help turn individual cases into durable improvements across detection, product, policy, operations, and enforcement.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who is analytically curious, comfortable working through ambiguity, and motivated by understanding how sophisticated actors exploit systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fraud analysis, investigations, threat intelligence, trust and safety, risk operations, cybersecurity, data analysis, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency using SQL to query, join, validate, and analyze large datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate ambiguous or complex activity, identify meaningful patterns, and reach evidence-based conclusions.
• Experience developing, evaluating, or improving fraud rules, risk controls, alerts, monitoring, or investigative workflows.
• Working knowledge of detection-performance concepts such as precision, false positives, false negatives, coverage, baselines, anomalies, and behavioral change.
• Ability to quantify risk and communicate findings through clear documentation, data-supported recommendations, and concise presentations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple investigations or projects with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Experience in loyalty or rewards abuse, marketplace integrity, account abuse, e-commerce fraud, promotional abuse, or consumer-platform Trust & Safety.
• Familiarity with anomaly detection, device intelligence, identity risk, or behavioral analytics.
• Experience working with rules engines, case-management systems, version-controlled detection logic, or third-party fraud-prevention platforms.
• Familiarity with adversarial behavior, fraud-ring analysis, incident response, or the investigation of coordinated and rapidly evolving threats.
• Experience using or building AI-assisted workflows, automation, or analytical tools to improve detection development, case enrichment, investigative efficiency, monitoring, or decision support while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
• Experience translating investigative findings into product, policy, operational, or enforcement improvements.

• The base salary range for this position is $68,000-$81,000.

• Investigative learnings are converted into reusable detections, documentation, monitoring, and institutional knowledge.
