[Hiring] Open Source Intelligence Analyst @SMI Aware

Role Description

An Open Source Intelligence Analyst creates reports using SMI Aware's proprietary software application and other web-based tools. Primary activities include:

• Searching social media
• Conducting advanced search engine queries
• Filtering results
• Writing an analytical summary of findings

Qualifications

• Must have advanced understanding of how to use social media and open-source intelligence to find information about individuals and companies
• Must be adaptable to learn new skills and software
• Must be proficient user of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Knowledge of Boolean Search Engine queries and advanced search settings on social media platforms
• Advanced writing and analytical skills are required
• Must possess demonstrated ability to reliably meet project timelines
• Bachelors Degree in related field (Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Criminology, etc.) or industry-specific certification preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or French a plus (reading and writing)
