Role Description

The Master Data Management Lead focuses on developing and implementing the Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. The initial domain to be mastered as an enterprise Data Product is Customer.

• Identifies the key business processes that will be affected by the MDM program, and verifies that the correct stakeholders are included.
• Aligns the scope of the MDM program with the D&A strategy.
• Measures progress toward business goals using clear MDM program metrics, setting a baseline and linking these metrics to business benefit and data value metrics.
• Ensures trusted master data by overseeing a formal, sanctioned governance program.
• Oversees data stewardship and enables business users across the enterprise to leverage trusted master data.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, or related roles, with a proven record of delivering trusted master data solutions.
• Experience aligning MDM programs with enterprise data and analytics strategies and business objectives.
• Skilled in developing and tracking MDM program metrics linked to business outcomes and data value.
• Proven ability to oversee data stewardship, governance programs, and enable business users to leverage high-quality master data.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
