[Hiring] Market Research Analyst/Sr. Analyst - TV Content Testing @National Research Group

Role Description

We’re looking for a Research Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Entertainment team, with a dedicated focus on TV series content testing and development.

• Support and lead episode testing and multi-episode ‘binge’ testing.
• Help clients understand what’s working and not connecting with audiences.
• Optimize content to attract the broadest set of viewers.
• Design smart research approaches and analyze complex datasets.
• Translate findings into clear, compelling stories that guide creative and strategic decisions.
• Opportunity to work on broader custom and creative testing research.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience working in consumer insights, consumer research, or in a strategy role.
• B.A./B.S. degree in Social Sciences, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding and experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Strong foundation in custom research, including survey writing and data tab review.
• Ability to craft compelling narratives from complex data.
• Experience nurturing and building relationships with clients.
• Expert at working with data to identify trends and insights.
• Curiosity and critical thinking to seek information on consumer behavior.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Hawk-eyed attention to detail for quality control and reporting.
• Team player who collaborates harmoniously within and across teams.

Requirements

• Flexible and resilient in adapting to fast-paced environments.
• Experience with data analysis techniques such as statistical significance testing and correlation analysis.
• Advanced data visualization skills using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Slides.
