[Hiring] Logistics Data Analyst @LMI

Role Description

LMI is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst who has experience in data analytics and logistics, and is willing to take on other program management support activities to join our DHS FEMA Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Operations Division's Securing the Cities Team. The successful candidate will be a professional, highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position requires an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain DHS Suitability. This is an Offsite position, which can be remotely supported.

Responsibilities

• Support federal, state, local, tribal and territorial agencies in the development, implementation and sustainment of Radiological and Nuclear detection programs and capabilities.
• Provide information resources, processes, facilitation, and guidance on document development and strategic planning.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Excel spreadsheets using advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional logic, and data modeling.
• Validate, clean, and standardize data to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal reporting requirements.
• Provide analytical products to federal and contractor personnel, enabling efficient resource allocation and mission execution.
• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows, streamline reporting processes, and enhance data accessibility across the program.
• Maintain documentation of data processes, formulas, dashboards, and reporting standards.
• Analyze complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals.
• Support in program management and Grants program execution.
• Travel as required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• 3-10 years of experience in relevant field.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience working as a government consultant.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in other MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint and MS Teams.

Requirements

• Target salary range: $52,000 - $88,000.
• Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
• The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
• Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications.
