[Hiring] Lead Business Analyst @Gallagher

Role Description

Responsible for the management of programs or projects (e.g., strategic change management, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures or strategic programs that cross divisions) on a firm-wide scale.

• Sometimes referred to as the internal consultant, specializing in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Requires a broad knowledge of the firm and its key functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• May use six sigma methodologies, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), Process Management, Lean, and Project Selection.
• Accountable for providing expertise, support, and control for an organization's projects, including:
  • Developing program/project management best practices/templates.
  • Providing training/mentoring to project teams.
  • Monitoring dependencies across multiple inter-related projects.
  • Gathering and reporting consolidated project status and financial information to leadership.
• May serve as a central governing body to review/audit adherence to methodologies, budgets, and timing.
• May manage inputs and outputs of 3rd party's on behalf of client (all consultants, designers, and contractors).
• LEAD: Recognized subject matter expert in sub-function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
• May have up to one direct report.
• Managing large projects or processes and/or products and systems with limited oversight from management.
• Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
• Facing function-related problems that are difficult and moderately complex.
• Serving as an expert within own discipline.

Qualifications

• Requires deep technical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline, with broad knowledge of project management.
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience.
