[Hiring] IT Business Analyst @Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Role Description

This role involves engaging stakeholders and customers, providing functional expertise, vision, oversight, and coordination across a portfolio of IT solutions.

• Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives
• Work closely with business users to define and analyze problems and determine suitable technical, application, or configuration solutions
• Define project requirements by identifying milestones, phases, and elements; forming project teams; establishing project budgets
• Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications with Domain Architects and Developers
• Validate business and technical requirements during the project delivery process
• Support System Integration Testing Activities and provide necessary Key User Training
• Assist in providing guidance to team members
• Create, review, and deliver end-user documentation and training materials for accuracy
• Analyze system architecture and business processes for more effective overall solutions
• Work with outside partners to ensure SBD requirements are met
• Lead functional activities, initiatives, and projects if needed

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience, or Graduate degree and 3-4 years relevant experience
• Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture, and analytical/problem-solving skills
• 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 0-3 years of leadership experience a plus

• Basic understanding of application portfolio, IT strategy, and business priorities
