[Hiring] Intelligence Analyst @Rhombus Power, Inc.

Role Description

As an Intelligence Analyst at Rhombus, you will create impactful intelligence assessments on topics including:

• Foreign military activities
• Weapons development
• Global conflicts
• International stability

Your work will support India and Allied national security decision making by fusing Rhombus’s unique AI-derived data with a spectrum of open-source information.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying impactful intelligence topics based on a detailed understanding of customer intelligence needs and missions.
• Producing high-quality intelligence assessments that answer key customer intelligence questions in line with the Indian Intelligence Community analytic and writing standards.
• Utilizing Rhombus’s AI-informed intelligence capabilities and expert research skills to gather information that forms the foundation of intelligence products.
• Identifying information gaps and collaborating with the Model and Data Development team to acquire sources that address those gaps.
• Applying structured analytic techniques to ensure products meet the highest standards.
• Briefing finished intelligence products to internal and external audiences.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on defense, military, weapons, and security developments relevant to client needs.
• Supporting enhancement of Rhombus’s intelligence capabilities by providing feedback on existing features and supporting the development of new applications and tools.

Successful candidates will be solution-oriented self-starters who are tech-savvy, able to identify problems and opportunities, and capable of proposing solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential given the pace of global events and evolving client needs.

A writing sample is required as part of your application. Samples need to be your original work, ideally produced within the last three years, 1–3 pages in length, and assess a geopolitical or international security-related topic. Any deviation from this will cause your application to be reprioritized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of analytic experience with subject matter expertise in military capabilities, weapons systems, and broader defense/security issues.
• Analytic experience and training within the Indian Intelligence Community or military is strongly desired.
• At minimum, a BA/BS in International Affairs, Political Science, Economics, or a related social science with specific focus of study/research on security matters. Advanced degree highly preferred; we are open to PhDs!
• Demonstrated experience producing written intelligence products tailored to specific client intelligence requirements.
• Experience delivering briefings on complex national security and international affairs topics in high stakes, high pressure environments.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies.
• Natural intellectual curiosity and emotional intelligence, coupled with grit and determination to always keep a deliverable moving.
• Eligibility for a security clearance issued by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) or equivalent national authority. If you currently hold a clearance, please indicate the level and sponsoring organization.
• Familiarity with data analysis, statistics, data science, or coding (Python, R, STATA, etc.) is welcomed.
