Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Architect to design and lead complex cloud and on-premises data architectures, ensuring scalability, security, governance, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements. The role will focus on:

• Data integration
• Data quality
• Master data management
• Data governance
• Data lineage

Working across both modern cloud platforms and existing on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define complex Informatica-based data architectures across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead the architecture and integration strategy for enterprise data platforms.
• Define and implement data governance frameworks, including data cataloguing, data lineage, metadata management, and data quality.
• Work with business, data, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and sustainable architectural solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across data integration and data management initiatives.
• Ensure data architectures comply with relevant data protection and AI regulations, including GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Contribute to the definition of architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies.
• Assess existing data environments and recommend improvements, modernisation, and migration strategies.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Developers, and other technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with the Informatica ecosystem, particularly:
• Informatica PowerCenter
• Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) / IICS
• Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
• Master Data Management (MDM)
• CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) / Data Catalog
• Data Lineage and Metadata Management
• Cloud and on-premises data architecture
• Solid understanding of data governance and data management principles.
• Experience with data lineage, data cataloguing, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of data protection and regulatory requirements, particularly GDPR.
• Awareness of the EU AI Act and its implications for data and AI governance.
