Role Description
We’re looking for a Home Retail Pricing Lead to join our Home Retail Pricing team either working remotely or based in our Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex offices. In this role you’ll work as part of our exciting new Home Retail Pricing Team and you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the building of new predictive models using linear and non-linear statistical techniques
- Monitoring, maintaining and updating existing statistical models
- Solving key company questions and providing analysis, insight and competitive advantage
- Producing recommendations, analysis and reports to maximise customer satisfaction and profitability
- Pro-actively seeking ways to improve existing processes in the Retail Pricing Team
- Implementing and advising on analysis strategy for the company, focusing on customer behaviour and insurance market dynamics
Qualifications
- Insurance industry experience
- Good knowledge of either Home or Motor products
- Strong experience using RADAR and SQL
- Ability to communicate with various levels of stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong background in statistical methods
- Experience of personal lines insurance analysis
- Experience of Radar, SQL, Emblem, Excel and advanced statistical techniques
- Proven ability to produce outstanding results based on own initiative
- Broad knowledge of statistical methods and techniques
- Good knowledge of personal lines insurance products and the insurance industry
- Solid understanding of the business objectives and operations
