[Hiring] Health Informatics Data Analyst @Pantheon

Role Description

Pantheon is looking for a Health Informatics Data Analyst to work with large public datasets using Tableau, SAS, R, Python and other tools to manage and implement an automated and manual data delivery workflow that involves harmonization, file construction, publication analytics, and quality control.

• Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), descriptive statistics, and basic predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and key insights in healthcare data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior data scientists, analysts, and healthcare professionals to understand project requirements, deliver analytical reports, and support decision-making.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including policymakers and healthcare providers.
• Report Writing: Assist in preparing high quality 508 compliant technical reports, presentations, and documentation to summarize the results of analyses.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with an ability to effectively engage in a technical conversation oriented to maximize business value.
• Comfortable working in the weeds, but also able to understand the big picture.
• Able to communicate in person and in writing without relying on generative AI.
• Experience with healthcare data analytics.
• Proficiency with SAS.
• Proficiency with Tableau.
• Experience with Stata, R, or Python.
• Familiarity with Databricks, AWS Glue, or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• U.S citizen or Permanent Resident required.
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance and pass a background check.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics or Data Science from an accredited educational institution based in the United States.
