Role Description

As a Field Services Data Analytics Intern with us, you will build a solid foundation for your career by gaining hands-on experience from working on multiple projects with a wide variety of applications, including GIS, addressing, records and data review.

• This position can work remotely in any of the 40+ states in which TDS Telecom operates.
• This is a year-round internship, requiring at least 15 hours per week during core business hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
• The base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $19/hour.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, high-tech learning environment to build, analyze, and administer our network, server, and security related infrastructure.
• Research plant records and technology platforms to serve our customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Great attention to detail.
• Work with a variety of addressing and records systems to identify service opportunities.
• Evaluate network delivery technologies and understand network engineering leading-edge technologies.
• Address issues and find creative solutions.
• Excited to learn how to help migrate from legacy to Cloud-based solutions.
• Manage a variety of hardware devices through support and upgrades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Must be able to complete working hours between M-F 8-5pm.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Must be 18+ years of age.

• Associates scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits such as vacation (15 days accrued per year for full-time; pro-rated for part-time associates working between 20-39 hours).
