[Hiring] Enterprise Data Analyst OR Senior Enterprise Data Analyst @BCBSM, Inc.

Role Description

This position involves managing semi-complex to complex data and information to provide meaningful results, influencing strategic decision-making at Blue Cross.

• Work independently and with a team to plan, initiate, and occasionally lead analysis from conceptual development through programming to implementation.
• Understand business requirements and manage data stewardship for various data sources.
• Apply analytical techniques to ensure data answers the right questions.
• Serve as a Business Intelligence power user and data steward for the enterprise.
• Provide services to various customers, including Network Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Actuary and Underwriting, Audit, and Operations Division.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• Experience in languages and platforms such as Microsoft BI, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SAS JCL, SAS EG, SAS BI, SQL Server, Visual Basic, or VIPS.
• Technical proficiency in developing reports using Power BI and other reporting tools like Tableau, Cognos, etc.
• Proven experience in working with customers across the enterprise to understand business questions and develop reporting and analytical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to design, evaluate, and interpret complex data sets.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences and executives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access.
• High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Healthcare Industry experience preferred.
• Experience in Databricks or cloud architecture creating and maintaining pipelines, CI/CD processes.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, and Relational Database Systems.
• Skilled in developing interactive dashboards to help business explore and understand the data.
• Ability to build and manage ETL solutions to consume various data sources.
• Experience implementing modular solutions for flexibility across application layers.
• Understanding agile concepts and experience with tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Familiarity with industry standards and emerging trends.

Role Designation

Compensation and Benefits

• Senior Enterprise Data Analyst: $88,000 - $117,400 - $146,200.
• Enterprise Data Analyst: $77,200 - $102,300 - $127,400.
