[Hiring] Director of Pharmacy Analytics @Foundation Risk Partners

Role Description

The Director of Analytics is a visionary and strategic leader who helps to shape the organization’s data-driven culture and empowers business transformation through advanced analytics. This role is responsible for aiding in identifying and executing innovative analytics strategies that unlock actionable insights, fuel organizational growth, and drive operational excellence.

• Define and execute the analytics vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities to improve business processes and outcomes.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of analysts.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, improvement, and innovation.
• Oversee the analytics team in performing request for proposals (RFPs), prospective savings analysis, as well as renewals and reconciliations for the existing client base.
• Work closely with IT, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to improve business processes.
• Support strategic initiatives through advanced analytics and scenario modeling.
• Aid in evaluating and implementing analytics platforms and tools to enhance capabilities and drive efficiencies.
• Present findings and recommendations to executive and client audiences with professionalism and clarity.
• Prepare and maintain regular analytics reports.
• Drive process improvements and best practices within the analytics function.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, business challenges, and competitive market developments related to analytics.
• Lead and manage a team of Analysts, providing day‑to‑day guidance, support, and clear direction.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to communicate priorities, review performance, and drive alignment.
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to strengthen the skills and capabilities of the Analyst team.
• Serve as a mentor and leadership resource, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing analytics teams.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills; confident presenting to diverse audiences.
• Advanced skills in data analysis, and data visualization preferred.
• Strong understanding of working with pharmacy claims data ensuring accuracy, integrity and best practices.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with executive leadership.
• Quick to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
• Remote position with light travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the pharmacy benefit industry-specific analytics is required.
