[Hiring] Director of Analytics @Sunbit

Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on Director of Analytics to lead Merchant Ecosystem analytics. You will manage a team of senior analysts and work directly with Merchant and company leaders.

The role has two halves:

• Own analytics self-serve: moving us from a model where business teams ask analysts for answers, to a governed, agent-enabled environment where they answer their own questions with data they trust.
• Own merchant and BNPL analytics, including the loan application funnel and loan performance.

You do not need a lending background. If you are strong on funnel analytics and self-serve, we will teach you the BNPL domain.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics or data science, including managing and developing analysts.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Expert SQL, plus working Python or R.
• Proven experience building self-service analytics: certified metric definitions, a semantic or modeling layer, and the data quality practices that keep them trusted.
• Hands-on experience putting LLM- or agent-based analytics into real business use.
• Strong funnel and conversion analytics in a high-volume consumer or transactional product, plus solid experimentation skills.
• A track record of influencing senior leaders and working as a peer to Product, Engineering, and business teams.
