Role Description

The Director, Data & Analytics Business Process Management provides strategic leadership for the governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of the business processes that drive enterprise data, analytics, AI, and digital product delivery. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, data and technology organizations, this role ensures investments are effectively prioritized, governed, and aligned with business objectives. The Director establishes and oversees scalable frameworks for demand management, portfolio governance, strategic planning, product ownership, funding oversight, KPI measurement, and cross-functional execution, enabling operational excellence and the delivery of measurable business value across the enterprise.

The salary range for this position is $160,000, commensurate with experience.

What You Will Do

• Lead the Data & Analytics operating model, aligning business priorities, product strategies, technology investments, and delivery outcomes to drive enterprise value.
• Establish governance frameworks, intake and prioritization processes, and execution standards across Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, and Product teams.
• Drive strategic planning, portfolio management, roadmap development, and investment decisions while measuring business value, adoption, and ROI.
• Build and mature Product Ownership and Product Management practices, including product governance, lifecycle management, roadmap planning, and backlog prioritization.
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into scalable product capabilities and measurable outcomes.
• Define and oversee business processes that support compliance, risk management, audit readiness, and operational controls.
• Collaborate with Governance, Security, Privacy, and Compliance teams to embed governance requirements into data and product delivery processes.
• Lead demand management, resource planning, prioritization, dependency management, and execution governance for enterprise Data & Analytics initiatives.
• Develop and standardize methodologies, frameworks, templates, and best practices that improve delivery consistency, transparency, and accountability.
• Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs, OKRs, dashboards, and value realization reporting, ensuring investments deliver measurable business impact.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process optimization, automation, and service quality.
• Build and lead high-performing teams across business process management, portfolio governance, product operations, and strategic planning.
• Partner with executive and cross-functional leaders to align priorities, governance, delivery execution, and organizational objectives.
• Provide executive visibility into portfolio health, risks, dependencies, performance, and business outcomes.
• Lead strategic data modernization, analytics, AI, governance, and digital transformation initiatives that advance enterprise goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while translating Data & Analytics investments into measurable business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in Business Process Management, Portfolio Management, Product Operations, Program Management, Data & Analytics, or Technology Strategy.
• Proven success developing governance frameworks, operating models, prioritization processes, portfolio management practices, and scalable delivery organizations.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, AI/ML, Product Management, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
• Experience leading strategic planning, budgeting, resource planning, portfolio governance, and value realization initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, align cross-functional priorities, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience leading PMO, Product Operations, Portfolio Governance, Data & Analytics business management, or enterprise transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams, drive organizational change, and establish scalable governance and operating models.
• Strategic, data-driven leader with a focus on business outcomes, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and execution.
• Strong collaborator and executive partner who can translate strategy into measurable value and organizational transformation.
