Role Description

Northeast Community College is seeking a full-time Data Solutions Analyst. Reporting to the Executive Director of Data and Strategic Analytics, the Data Solutions Analyst plays a key role in advancing the college’s data strategy by delivering actionable insights, improving data accessibility, and supporting institutional decision-making.

• Designs, develops, and maintains data models, transformations, and reusable data structures.
• Brings together data from institutional, external, and emerging data sources.
• Works collaboratively across Data and Strategic Analytics and other Technology Services teams.
• Translates reporting and analytical needs into sustainable, well-documented data solutions.
• Supports the modernization of the college’s data infrastructure.
• Improves how data is structured, standardized, and made available for institutional use.

This is a remote position with possible travel to the Norfolk, Nebraska campus. This position is funded by a nine-month grant, with the possibility of grant renewal and position extension for up to three additional years, subject to funding approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, or a related field required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data querying and modeling.
• At least one year experience working with higher education data systems preferred.
• Experience with noncredit, workforce, or continuing education data is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL required.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar languages a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data integration concepts required.
