Role Description

This position supports research operations within the School of Nursing (SON) by providing REDCap and data management expertise, under the guidance of the SON REDCap administrator, and biostatistical support across multiple projects. The role will assist faculty, staff, and students with the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure research databases, ensure data quality and integrity, and contribute to statistical programming and analysis for manuscripts and reports.

• Build and maintain secure data collection systems in REDCap and Qualtrics, including forms, surveys, validation rules, user rights, etc.
• Provide data management and data quality support, including cleaning, validation, documentation, and quality assurance checks using REDCap, SAS, R, or Stata.
• Contribute to the development and review of research documents (e.g., data collection and security protocols, case report forms, statistical analysis plans, DSMB reports, other statistical reports, etc.).
• Provide programming and statistical support, including data preparation, descriptive statistics, and statistical modeling, for manuscripts, presentations, and research deliverables.
• Serve as a REDCap technical support contact within the SON and assist users with system setup, permissions, troubleshooting, and best practices, in coordination with the REDCap administrator.
• Provide technical assistance for project setup, role assignments, instrument configuration, and survey deployment.
• Troubleshoot REDCap issues, permissions, user access, and project functionality.
• Educate users on REDCap best practices, data security, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with IT/REDCap administrator to escalate issues and test system updates.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Bachelors of Science, and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
