Role Description

We're looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help shape how we reach, engage, and grow business audiences around the world. You'll partner with teams across marketing, product, growth, sales, and leadership to uncover opportunities, measure what matters, and turn insights into action.

You'll be a strong fit if you bring experience in data science for marketing or another business-focused area, along with a solid grounding in statistics and familiarity with machine learning, experimentation, or causal inference.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize marketing performance.
• Develop and implement measurement frameworks to assess the impact of marketing campaigns on perception, engagement, and revenue growth.
• Dive deep into strategic analysis to drive optimizations in how we connect with advertisers of all sizes around the world.
• Collaborate with product, growth, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to drive impactful change and shape the future of the company.
• Create data science solutions to maximize growth among business audiences, including advanced targeting and dynamic content personalization.
• Leverage skills in experimentation, causal inference, AI/ML, and statistics, combined with business understanding, to drive real impact for Marketing.
• Have autonomy and influence, with direct impact on marketing strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Ability to do impactful business analysis, including descriptive analysis, ML, etc.
• Familiarity with machine learning or causal inference concepts.
• Familiarity with testing and the statistics behind testing.

Requirements

• Marketing DS experience (preferred).
• Deeper familiarity with experimental systems (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree; needs to be able to understand statistics/have statistics experience.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
• Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
• Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
• Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
