Role Description

This position's published base salary range is between $110,000 and $140,000 annually, plus generous benefits (e.g., For People pays 100% of Gold-tier employee health insurance premiums) and annual company profit sharing.

Your Opportunities:

• Develop and implement data models to find efficiencies and identify trends using statistical techniques.
• Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets, focusing on the Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) Analytic Files (TAF) to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate within a dedicated team of analysts and program experts to build interactive self-service dashboards that translate complex metrics into user-centric visualizations.
• Support the incremental development of data governance frameworks to ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and security.
• Utilize human-centered design principles to ensure all technical outputs are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the needs of stakeholders and beneficiaries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering complex data projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large, complex datasets.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
• Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes in a modern cloud environment.
• A deep curiosity and passion for untangling complex problems and a drive to create positive social impact.
• Prior exposure to healthcare insurance, CMS, or state Medicaid data is a bonus.

• Must perform all work physically within the United States at all times.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must be able to pass a government-performed public trust background check.
