[Hiring] Data Migration Test Analyst @Two95 International Inc.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Test Analyst to support and validate the migration of ETL workflows from Pentaho Data Integration to Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI). This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, transformation integrity, and functional parity between legacy Pentaho jobs and newly developed Informatica CDI pipelines, with a strong emphasis on SQL-based validation and scripting.

Key Responsibilities

• Migration Testing & Validation
  • Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data migration from Pentaho to Informatica CDI
  • Validate end-to-end data flows, including source-to-target mappings, transformations, aggregations, and business rules
  • Ensure migrated Informatica CDI jobs deliver functional equivalence or improvement over existing Pentaho workflows
• Data Reconciliation & SQL Validation
  • Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate row counts, aggregations, joins, filters, and transformations
  • Perform data reconciliation between legacy Pentaho outputs and Informatica CDI target tables
  • Identify, analyze, and document data discrepancies and root causes
• ETL & Workflow Testing
  • Test Informatica CDI mappings, taskflows, schedules, and dependencies
  • Validate exception handling, error logging, and restartability of pipelines
  • Ensure performance and scalability meet or exceed legacy standards
• Defect Management & Collaboration
  • Log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, DBAs, and business stakeholders
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams
• Documentation & Reporting
  • Create and maintain test artifacts, including test cases, test results, data validation reports, and sign-off documents
  • Provide regular status updates and testing metrics to project leadership

Qualifications

• Strong experience testing ETL / ELT and data warehouse solutions
• Hands-on testing experience with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) and/or Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
• Advanced SQL scripting skills (joins, subqueries, window functions, aggregates)
• Experience validating data across relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, etc.)
• Understanding of data integration concepts: source-to-target mapping, transformations, lookups, slowly changing dimensions
